Hwee Geok & Theng Cheng are among the many couples who inspire me to take couple portrait. This charming duo from Singapore loves to visit Melaka, and on this particular trip, they were celebrating their 27th marriage anniversary. To make their vacation even more memorable, they wanted to try something different and have a couple portrait session.

When Hwee Geok & Theng Cheng reached out to me through my blog, I was humbled. They told me that they had enjoyed browsing through my blog and decided that they wanted me to capture their portraits in Melaka. This made all the effort and time I put into blogging feel worthwhile.

As avid sports lovers, Hwee Geok, running and yoga, and Theng Cheng, cycling, didn’t mind walking around in the hot sun during the session. We explored the charming old streets of Melaka, and I captured some stunning portraits along the way. Soon after the town walk, we made our way to the Klebang Sand Dunes, a location they discovered through my blog.

Although the sun was blazing, we enjoyed chatting, running, and taking pictures, and we were fortunate enough to experience a magical moment – the sunset. This stunning natural beauty served as the perfect backdrop for our session in the sand dunes.

I’m grateful to Hwee Geok & Theng Cheng for giving me the opportunity to capture their love and affection. The way they expressed their love for one another during the portrait session filled me with enthusiasm and renewed my passion for my work. It was an unforgettable experience, and I hope they have a lifetime of love and happiness together.
